Just because it's dark doesnt mean you have an excuse to not shoot, he says. He talks about one he took where he used night vision goggles, and another where he uses "spray and pray" technique - take 10 pics with long exposures, holding your breath. If one isnt sharp do it again and again until it is.

This is amazing. He created a video camera, with a 360 views. He first shows a video of dodgeball, where you can do a Google Streetview lookaround in the game. He used the same to create a video of after the destruction of the Slave Lake fire, then he did another one year later. He created a split screen showing the two scenes.

Holy crap. This video. The Edmonton Journal. They created a YouTube video with just a bit of code, so people could click to sections of interviews with Progressive Conservative leader candidates. I'll add the link later, when I find it.

Steel-rail dreams come true for Alberta farmers
www.edmontonjournal.comThe sky turns pink as Engine 5353 is roused from its sleep in a shed in Forestburg. Whining and shaking, the locomotive that once hauled passengers across the prairies on Canadian National’s main line creeps forward and out into the icy mist of dawn. Riding steel nearly sold for scrap, the train rumbles by a towering grain elevator local farmers saved from destruction, and begins a 90-kilometre journey past farms and oilfields and through tiny communities that sprung up when the rail was laid 100 years ago. -
