Scribble Chat: Real-time reporting in the classroom

A discussion on the challenges of including real-time reporting in the classroom.

by Charles Blouin-Gascon
Welcome to this week's Scribble Chat on the challenges of incorporating real-time reporting in the classroom.

With the profession of journalism reinventing itself seemingly in real-time, how do journalism students keep up in classrooms? What are their real-time reporting strategies? How much have they embraced the shift to real-time?

Our panel includes a current journalism student and one recent graduate. The panelists have had positive experiences with real-time reporting and will be sharing their stories.  Our guests are:

Cassandra Avila, Ryerson University (2013)

Theresa Spohn, Centennial College

The discussion will take place on Tuesday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Feel free to leave any questions you have, using the 'Make a Comment' button and we'll include the best ones during the chat. This event is also available to syndicate for free on the Scribble Market.
